Jika kamu mau tahu detail penyebab rpm naik turun, berikut bahasan lengkapnya sekaligus solusi yang perlu dilakukan. 1. Idle Regulator Bermasalah Sering jadi masalah untuk kasus rpm naik turun adalah Idle Regulator Mekanik yang sering disapa Hatar ini, menjelaskan beberapa penyebabnya. Biasanya, menurut Hatar, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh masalah pada idle regulator atau servo motor yang tidak bekerja sebagaimana mestinya. “Dari idle regulator atau servo motor untuk mobil yang masih mekanikal throttle body, fungsi idle regulator atau servo motor ini untuk mengatur stationer mesin. Kalau idlenya sudah tidak bekerja dengan baik, valvenya maka langkah atau stepernya akan tidak sesuai. Sehingga debit udara yang diatur tidak sesuai juga. Akibatnya stationer jadi turun naik dan ini berimbas pada rpm sehingga turun naik,” buka Hatar. Di samping itu, untuk mobil yang sudah mengadopsi sistem Drive By Wire DBW kalau terindikasi ada masalah rpm naik turun, bisa disebabkan oleh motor penggerak. Karea komponen tersebut bermasalah, sehingga menyebabkan komponen skep yang berfungsi untuk buka tutup menjadi tidak stabil. Jika terdapat permasalahan tersebut, maka salah satu cara untuk memperbaikinya adalah dengan melakukan reset untuk idle atau Throttle by Wire. Jika kamu sudah melakukan reset terhadap komponen tersebut dan masih bermasalah, sebaiknya kamu melakukan penggantian. 2. Throttle Position Sensor Tidak Akurat TPS berperan mendeteksi adanya perubahan pada throttle gas Selain itu, masalah tersebut juga bisa disebabkan dari komponen lainnya. Hatar, menjelaskan di mana ada komponen Throttle Position Sensor TPS yang juga bermasalah. Penyebabnya adalah kondisi stationer sudah tidak akurat sehingga bisa menjadi penyebab rpm naik turun. “Diagnosanya, ukur nilai TPS voltase dari posisi close stationer itu berapa? Lalu diakurasikan dengan nilai speknya. Kalau tidak sesuai, ya harus ganti,” tambah Hatar. 3. Seal Intake Manifold Bocor Jadi Penyebab RPM Naik Turun Penyabab rpm naik turun bisa jadi dari kebocoran pada intake manifold Selain dari sistem tersebut, mekanik yang sering menangani mobil Peugeot ini juga mengatakan ada penyebab lainnya. Salah satu yang dijelaskan adalah lantaran adanya kebocoran pada sistem intake manifold. “Ini juga harus dicek, caranya mengeceknya adalah dengan melihat selang-selang vakum udaranya, apakah ada bocor dan cek bagian seal intake manifold, semprotkan karbu cleaner ke area intake yang menempel ke cylinder head, kalau ada leak atau kebocoran maka akan terlihat ada buih busa dan mesin akan menjadi drop,” bebernya. Hatar kembali menambahkan, jika memang penyebab rpm naik turun karena hal tersebut, segera lakukan pergantian packing bila ditemukan kebocoran. 4. Valve Seat Aus Kalau sampai bagian valve seat ada yang bocor, maka harus lakukan sekir klep Selain itu ada juga komponen lain yang aus, sehingga menyebabkan masalah rpm di mobil kamu. Sebut saja valve seat, komponen ini juga perlu dicek kondisinya. “Ada kebocoran di valve seat atau seating klep. Ini berakibat stationer terganggu sehingga rpm menjadi naik turun. Lakukan test menggunakan cylinder head leak tester untuk masing-masing cylinder, kalau ada leak pada bagian tersebut, maka bagian tersebut harus melakukan sekir klep,” uja mekanik yang juga menangani mobil balap Peugeot ini. 5. Sensor Mesin Kotor Contoh sensor 02 mesin mobil yang sedang dibersihkan Masalah lain yang menjadi penyebab dari rpm naik turun tidak hanya dari kinerja sistem mekanis. Tetapi, ada juga sensor pada bagian mesin mobil yang kotor. Maka, jika sensor tersebut kotor ada kemungkinan bahwa kinerja dari rpm menjadi tidak stabil. “Penyebab lainnya bisa juga terjadi karena O2 sensor intermittent fault atau injektor ada yang kotor, akibatnya stationer mengalami naik turun meskipun tidak besar, namun tetap penyebabnya bisa dari masalah ini. Untuk mengetahuinya, bisa melihat parameter nilai waktu injector dan nilai O2 sensor dengan scan diagnose,” tandasnya. Dengan beberapa penjelasan terkait rpm naik turun pada mobil, kamu sebagai pemilik mobil seharusnya juga bisa mengantisipasi dengan melakukan servis secara berkala. Dengan begitu, ketika ada permasalahan pada mobil yang tidak wajar maka bisa langsung didiskusikan dengan mekanik tempat kamu melakukan perawatan berkala. Meski masalah ini terbilang sepele karena hanya rpm naik turun, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan penyakit tersebut akan merembet ke bagian yang lain.
